In addition, I actively participate in national and international scientific conferences. I am the editor of the recently published handbook for patients suffering from Hidradenitis Suppurativa. I am passionate about dermatology and motosport, taking part in track days and trainings organized on professional race tracks. My biggest passion in medicine is pediatric oncology and I enjoy clinical and research work connected to this field. From the 2nd year of my studies I have been a member and later (from 2019) a leader of The English Division Pediatric Oncology Scientific Circle.
I am also very interested in communication in medicine - since 2019 I have been a coordinator of a series of doctor-patient communication workshops held on MUG.
During my university years, I have been also involved in organization of many events: student conferences (OSSC, ISSC, Palliative Medicine Conference), webinars and workshops. Since last academic year, I have been a board member of Student Scientific Society.
Apart from medicine, I love travelling (especially to Balkan countries), hiking and kayaking.

My name is Wiktoria, but that's what officially only a woman from human resources calls me. I am 23 years old, I am a newly qualified nurse and a 1st year masters of nursing student. On a daily basis, being a KPP rescuer, and now also a nurse, I conduct various training courses in the field of first aid teaching hundreds of people (from preschoolers to academic teachers) how to save human lives. You can meet me during city medical celebrations, mass events etc. organized in the Tri-City and the whole country. Every free moment (wait, what?) is filled to the brim with emergency medicine, which is my passion. I love what I do and can't imagine a different life. I am from Kerala, India. Currently I am doing my PhD at MUG Doctoral School, Faculty of Pharmacy (Department of Pharmaceutical Pathophysiology). Being one of the best medical university in Poland, MUG is offering a multi-dimensional learning experience for students. I am a first year student and a class rep of Master Degree in Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Industry. Prior to joining MUG, I have graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Pharmacy from Technological University of Dublin in Ireland, where I have also been a class rep as well as involved in various societies and clubs (mainly rowing and skiing). These involvements were crucial to keep my sanity intact and allowed me to really get involved into the student life and enjoy my college days to the fullest while keeping up good grades.

I am recent MD graduate from the Medical University of Gdansk, currently doing my doctoral studies at the Department of General, Endocrine and Transplant Surgery.
During MD studies, I developed a keen interest in scientific research through involvement in scientific societies. I have published over 15 articles and presented at several national and international conferences. At the moment, as a doctoral student, I am researching the effectiveness of Transcutaneous Laryngeal USG in diagnosing vocal cord paralysis. I have also continued my association with Student Scientific Circle of Surgery as a supervisor.
In the near future, I have plans to start working as a specialized foundation year doctor in the UK while continuing my doctoral studies remotely.

Hello! I’m Reema, a 5th-year student from India. Over the years of being a medical student, I’ve always had a soft spot for Psychiatry and Behavioural Science. From the beginning of my studies, I have been very involved in the life of the university. Already in the first year, I became a member of the Polish Association of Dental Students, and I had the opportunity to participate in various training courses and conferences for students all over the country. Since the second year, I have also been a member of the Oral Surgery Students' Scientific Circle. I have been passionate about oral surgery since the first summer internship, during which my supervisor showed me how much can be achieved in this branch of dentistry. This Scientific Circle helps me expand my knowledge and skills in this field, as well as allows me to participate in both Polish and International Scientific Conferences. I am always eager to engage in preparation of university events such as e.g. Open days. Privately, I love dancing and taking long walks in search of undiscovered places. After graduating from high school, I decided that I want to leave my hometown Silesia and study at the seaside. Three years later, I can say that it was one of the best decisions of my life! My name is Dominika and I am halfway through my dental studies. At the beginning of my studies, when I had to deal with anatomy, I had my first fear that I would not be able to cope with it. Fortunately, I quickly understood that studying is not only about monotonous learning and passing exams. For me, studies are primarily an opportunity to gain experience, meet new people and a time to look for my passions.
